Sony has further stated that there will be no price increase in the US for the time being, and that they’re continuing to work on the stock supply situation so that it’ll be easier to actually purchase one. The affected regions are Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Canada, and the company has only provided the price changes for the select territories listed above. It’s highly possible that we’ll see price increases for even more territories going forward as well, though that remains to be seen.
