How Big Is God of War Ragnarok’s Install Size?
The download size of God of War Ragnarok on both the PS4 and PS5 is provided below:
PS4: 90.60GB PS5: 98.28GB
It’s worth noting that while these file sizes are correct at the time of writing, the release of patches can sometimes cause a game’s install size to increase or decrease. Whether the files get bigger or smaller depends on what the patch changes. Sometimes new compression techniques can be implemented to reduce file size, whereas if a new feature is added in, such as Ragnarok’s inbound Photo Mode, the file size can go up. The good news is that file sizes tend not to fluctuate too much from their original installation unless major expansions of content are released. We can’t say for sure that this will be the case for every game and update that drops, but it’s a general rule of thumb to consider when factoring in just how much space you need to free up on your PS4 or PS5.
How to Free Up Space on PS4 & PS5
Go to the ‘Settings’ option on your PS4 or PS5 and then navigate down to the ‘Storage’ option. Next, select ‘Games’ and you’ll be given a complete list of the games installed on your storage drive currently. Simply select the game you want to remove, and then follow the on-screen instructions to delete the game. You can do the same thing under the ‘Media’ option within the ‘Storage’ menu for any screenshots or video clips that you’ve recorded, though it should be noted these don’t take up anywhere near the same amount of space as games do. That’s everything you need to know on what the download and install size of God of War Ragnarok is. Looking for more help for your adventure with Kratos and Atreus?
