We have been knowing for some time that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is preparing a device with hardly any bevels and with an 18:9 panel for the mid-range. Everything points to this mobile is the Redmi Note 5 Plus, which must be presented in just a few days. There is no official date, but in mid-November, we find it more than acceptable to renew one of the company’s most sold ranges.
The Redmi Note 5 Plus can be seen with 18:9 screen and double camera
On several occasions, we have seen some other image of this device and today was not going to be less. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Plus has just been filtered on Weibo with a very interesting new image. Again lets us confirm the screen without bevels, as well as the rear fingerprint sensor and the double camera. We can not confirm that this information is true, but the render has enough quality and no strange section as we have seen in other leaks. According to this render, the Redmi Note 5 Plus will bet on a screen with hardly any bevels, but with square corners. In most terminals with this ratio we see rounded corners, but it is possible that this process will increase the price of the panel, something that Xiaomi could not afford if it wants to continue offering an adjusted price.
At the moment we do not know the price of this device, not even if it will reach the Indian stores in the first wave. But it is certainly very interesting to think that this device will come with a price adjusted to the Indian market, which could cause the competition to tighten the belt.
